I have the current Mods in my truck now and kicking the idea of giving up the tst comp and the smarty for an Adrenaline. I have a really hard time giving up the smarty but now with it on any setting(other than half power) and the monstervp & sticks It is to much to be driving daily. I cannot keep the smoke down at all. Being an automatic dosent help one bit.

The TST withOUT the smarty on any level will give the truck a bad misfire or sputter at WOT. The power still feels good but it sounds so horrible. I've talked to a few people running monsters as well and none of them have this problem and the only difference is 2 have the ADR and another 2 run edge comp and both of those run their own timing with good results. I think Smarty's timing is just to aggressive ontop of what i already have. And not running timing with the smarty is just so much fuel it will almost stall out my engine at a take off if i go more than 1/8th throttle.

Any suggestions?

Are you running bigger lines and crossovers too? I know that those monster pumps put out quite a bit of fuel. Does it run this way on fuel only too?

My truck Has the same issue also. (WOT) it will break up bad, back of the petal just a bit and it clears right up

What kind of pump and injectors are you running though.

TST Comp works just fine.

Gus, I really like the tst and was thinkin to about your write up how you run yours on level 1 or 2 and let the twins do the rest but i dont have the stg 3 pump or twins. I dont mind using the TST, but the smarty is over kill on fuel and timing. And if the smarty goes then i'd rather just get an adrenaline.

I still havnt found my camera to get an example of the sound. I'll get it As soon as i find it thouhg.

Maybe our sticks are to small to clear it all at WOT. I found out mine actually are a 7x.012 not a .014. I threw the smarty in on my way home

sw2 tq 0 tim 1 dur 0

It seems like its kinda crippling it. Ill drive it around tomorrow like that and then with the timing off. I had the TST on this afternoon drivin around and it pulled really nice but still poppin at WOT. I'm gonna dyno on sat with both of them in tehre and depending on my #'s decide if i'll get rid of them and go to Baytown for the DHRA in oct and dyno there to see if i improved. i'm really shootin for 600-605hp.

Stock lines and Tubes. It is reccomended to use bigger lines and tubes but i gotta do one thing at a time. They will come but from what i can gather the stock tubes and lines should work just fine.

If both of yall heard that then I will take that to heart. I just went out and ran smarty on 2 (slowed me down again) and this time turned the tst on for the first time in 2 days. had it on 4 and instantly had choking missfires. I'm definatly ditchin the smarty. and Still not sure on TST but thanks for the info.

I think so, if not its very similar. I've read that post you had but it was too long for me to retain everything. What did it end up being.

Ever heard ppl get a blade of grass, put it between their thumb knuckles and blow on it to make it squeal? Picture that but in exhaust form.BUT tonite it was alot like what you were having jkt.

After hearing your vid about 15 times i think that is really close to it but yours reminds me of a de-fueling. What did yours sound like in the cab?

and arnt you goin to the SA dynoday?

Nope, Yours is definatly different than mine. I have power through my sound.

I did have something like that with both smarty and tst though.

Take the Smarty off and it'll be fixed. That pump needs no timing and no help from the programming of the Smarty.

Hey Crazytexan if you decide to sell that smarty I might interested in taking it off your hands.
