Solid 5-Speed Tranny Mount?

I just pulled my tranny and t-case out of the puller today and low and behold my tranny mount is split in half again.... Anyone run a soild type of mount if so where do I source it?

Make sure you have solid motor mounts also. With the motor mounted in rubber and the trany solid it puts the trany mount in a big bind. Iv broke trany/transfer strands doing that!

what if you drilled a hole through the mount an bolted it with a self loking nut so it couldnt shift around. That way youd have the give of rubber but the bolt wouldnt let it tear.

I have ran solid motor mounts on my gas truck for years, made them myself, but if you put solid motor mounts then you won't have to run a solid tranny mount. And you don't want to run a solid tranny mount, puts too much stress on the tranny and bad things happen.

That would work also. The best option would be to put motor plates on the front and rear of the motor, but that is a lot of work. Good luck Brandon.
