anyone running a solid carrier bearing instead of the rubber one? seem to remember a thread about it but can't find it anymore. wasn't sure if they were running it on a street truck, or just on the track. my next option would be poly but interested to see if anybody runs a solid one on a daily driver.

well its a crewcab, I think 80" is getting a little long for a single driveshaft isn't it?

I have a ccsb i forget how long it was but they said it was stronger to get a 1grill piece and no vibration what so ever. Only reason i got one built is because of my conversion.

I use a carrier bearing out of a big rig on my third gen. Take your measurements for the existing one to a drive line shop, someone that knows Spicer parts, and have then get you one that will work.

guess I may just order the polyurethane one from summit. anyone run those? should last better than rubber.
