Some Tranny Questions

I dont know that much about our transmissions, and Ive got a couple questions.

1. Why doesnt anyone offer billet parts (other than an input shaft) for a 5R110?

2. Is it possible to make one of these trannies shift as hard as a built 48re on a daily driving basis? I love how no matter how hard you accelerate, they shift hard.

The Billet input shaft seems to be the only thing needed. There are other billet parts out there, but with no one breaking the shafts, it isn't needed. So, why spend the extra money.

Ask your programmer about this. We have a Sun Coast tranny, with Eric's tunes. We can chirp the tires shifting into most of the gears on medium throttle. So, I’m sure there can be something done.
