We have a 3850 clutch in our pulling truck. The problem we are having is that our center of our no. 1 disc plate is rubbing on the flywheel. This the 2nd time that this has happened to us. Could someone explain what our problem is and how to fix it?:thankyou2:

Sounds like you might have the disc installed backwards.

We thought that too, but, today when we took it apart we tried the disc every which way and this is the only way that they would fit at all

Call SBC in the morning speak to Peter, Mansil, or Bryan...they will take care of you for sure! :rockwoot:

Last clutch they sent me the floater plate bottomed out on the fly wheel so the first disc was just laying down in there. They sent me another one later on to fix the mess up.

Talked to Southbend today. They said to ship it to them and they would figure out what was happening. Very good people to work with.
