Sport Conversion

I would like to put a sport grille and front bumper on my truck. Is that all I need is the grille and the bumper? Are the headlights any different? Where would be a good place to look for parts?

You will need Sport grille, grille frame, sport bumper cover & bumper reinforcements. You don't have to change the headlights. If you have factory foglights, your harness will work with the sport bumper, but lights are different.

True. I found it hard to come by the cover in good shape though so I started looking for new stuff...

search your local junk yards, parts will swap off 1500, 2500, 3500 trucks. It will take some time as most SLT guys hunt for the sport stuff.

I swapped mine a few years back, well worth the time/money invested

Don't forget the longer hood release rod.

I would say that there has got to be something else you would rather put $400 or more dollars into for the truck.
