i have a new,3rd gen sps 62/12 that i have decided to go another route with.i will let this go for $1200 o.b.o.let me know.no miles on this turbo

did you have it custom made with the 12cm? I couldn't get II to do it for me :(

what route are you going? maybe we could do some horse trading :)

that is the way it came with the 12 cm housing.at least that is what i ordered.decided to keep the truck fairly stock to pull the pull truck with

Yeah if you didn't specially order a Super Phat Shaft with a 12cm housing you might have a Phat Shaft 65mm turbine possibly. I was thinking about trying to get a Silver 12cm done up to run with my 50mm Ext gate.

i will take it out of the box and measure it and let you know

its an industrial injection super phat shaft 62 turbo.what ever their specs are.idk.

well, when you call II and order an sps62, it comes with a .80 (14cm) turbine housing... you say yours is a 12cm... I have heard of them special making them, but when I called to ask them to cut me a 12cm turbine housing for the 71 wheel, whoever I was talking with said they wouldn't do it.

that's why everyone is curious about what exactly it is that you've got.

I've actually only heard of one other sps62/12 besides yours.

you say yours is brand new, but you don't seem to imply that you specificly requested a custom turbine housing, so we're wondering exactly what you've got

Don't know if you guys remember but I ordered my old Silver 62 with a 12cm housing....It was marked as such....Called II to talk to them a while back and when I told the guy what I had, he was like " I remember that turbo and wondering why someone would do that".......That was because the Silver has a 74 turbine wheel.....

They will do it....Or at least used too.....

I imagine the 62/71/12 would spool Great!!! With my 74 T. Wheel Even it was still a little laggy....

It's gone now though....Compounds are going on when the build is done...

You should be able to look at the exhaust housing and tell if it's a 14cm or 12cm housing. This pic is a sps66. I'm not very slick with editing but if you see the area from A to B seems to get wider toward the outlet, that's a 14cm. if it were a 12cm housing it would be more like a straight line from A to B, not widen like it does in the picture.

Hope this helps, Dave

or you could look inside the inlet and look for a .70 or .80 :) (actually I think on the Schwitzers it's 0.80 or 0.70 :p )

where do you mean Forrest, the inlet on the exhaust housing? where it bolts to the manifold?

Dave

listen,i am not being poopy pants or anything.i did not order it 12 cm so i am mistaken and it must be a 14 cm.where does it need to be measured exactly?sorry guys my fault.

not a problem, we're not trying to come down on you, just trying to help specify exactly what you've got :D

if you look on the inside of the turbine inlet theyre should be a 0.80 or 0.70 stamped into the casting. it may be on the outside, but I believe it's on the inside on those turbos.
