For anybody looking ive run across some SQHD's pm if you are interested in one. I'm going saturday to find out how many there are and what ratio's there are. I can send them with the ratio's that are in them or can put what ever ratio you want in them (as long as its made for the rear) for an additional fee and then reset up the rear, plus the ride. Just let me know first come first serve.

Its a large Rockwell rear. Commonly used in pulling trucks and tractors.

I would get the sq. Much cheaper to fix if a problem occurs.

Found 1 SQHD that i know of. The owner wasnt there to point me at the others. seems after doing some more research they will need some custome things done to them to make them work in the trucks. The spindals will need to be cut off and F106 or h172 spindals welded on and then you have to get axles made(SCS's are $1300). So no cheap thing to do so im going to run my H172 that i have here until it grenades, then i will put a SQHD center in the 172 housing and get the axles made then. but the sq that i found is forsale.

I heard you can get a lot of different ratio's in the SQHD's too. So there a lot of options.

And you can get alluminum third menbers also in the SQHD

w machined the stock hubs down so a 15 inch wheel fit them. some came with aluminum hubs.

The bearings in the SQ hubs are enormous and are way to big for what we want to use. the drag on them would be twice that of a F106 so machining the hubs down would be for nothing when they really need to be remove
