srw to drw conversion

what all is needed to change my srw truck to a drw truck. im putting a flatbed on it so i wont need a bed. can i use a drw axle from a 3rd gen with 4.10's

Dont know what the perch width on the 2nd gens are but I think you need to change that. The 3rd gens are 49.5" I beleive center to center.

Maybe get ahold of this guy and see about doing a parts swap? anybody actually try to swap hubs from dual to single? - Midwest Diesel Connection

just get a dually rear axel for your year truck. they should be about the same if i'm not mistaken.
