If my tst box is boost fooling and sending out only 20lbs of boost to the computer, would the smarty(that does boost fooling also) only fuel and add timing to the 20lbs of boost it sees from the tst box, when it can add timing and fuel up to say 42lbs, but its only getting the 20lbs it sees from the tst box???

Hard to explain. Ask if confused on my question!!!!!

You're confusing yourself. First; the TST isn't sending out 20psi. Second; the Smarty isn't adding fuel and timing to the boost. "Boost fooling" tricks the ECM into thinking the engine is making less boost pressure than it really is, thus keeping it from throwing a code. If you're going to run the Smarty with the TST, the Smarty must be run on only even number programs.

The tst is just a fuel only box and it does send out boost singnals less then the factory setting(around 20psi) to not throw any check engine lights. Ex:Tst box and boost elbo and thats it.

I was just thinking that the smarty is getting wrong signals with the tst box fooling the computer already.

Run your Smarty with added timing with your TST. I have always ran Smarty on #3, TST on 9 when I had a PM3. Smarty on 3 and TST COMP on 5-7.

Its cool.....here might be a better example of what i think is happening.

Take any fueling box and put a boost fooler in front of it and you shouldnt get the same power.

I think the fueling box is doing the same thing to the smarty or any programer for that matter(stacked with any fueling box).

There has to be more power to be had.

Trying to get other people's input on this.

Took my wire harness, and cut the wires up so that boost singals go to my tst and ecm at the same time. If the rain clears out ill let you guys know what happens.

Try re-reading my first post. You obviously don't have a good understanding of how diesel engine electronics function.
