I have a 2000, and after it runs and you shut it off sometimes it does'nt start right away. I have a new inj. pump on it. but it did it before i replaced it. And it still does it every now and then. I have a fass 150 pump on it, Edge comp drag, stock injectors. It has a new fuel filter in it also. The truck has 233k on it. What is the problem. It always starts after you bump the key and let the pump run for how ever long the pump runs when you do that. What is the problem???

Check the o-rings on your connector tubes. Might have one that's bad and leaking air in. That and try unplugging your FASS and starting the truck real quick when it's hot. If it fires right up then wire your FASS to an oil PSI switch.

Yep wire ur fass so it doesnt run while ur crankin the truck had to do my airdog that way i got a brand new injpump an it done that wired it up an now it fires when u bump the key no matter what hot or cold

Sounds like the overflow valve on the VP. If the problem followed the new injection pump, the same overflow valve was probably used on your new pump. You can get them pretty cheap on ebay.
