Alright fella's, long story short. I drive the truck home from work (97 12 valve auto), shut the truck off and go in the house. Nothing unusual for the last 4 months as far as starting. Get up the next morning, hit the starter.........CLICK. Damnit, another junk NAPA starter. Brand new when bought and not a reman. 7 Napa starters later and 1 Auto Zone the ***** still won't start, just loud clicks. So, I check relay's, ignition switch, grounds, battery cable's (by the way, all of the above mention part's are new) I have battery voltage at the starter post, but only 10 volts on the little ignition wire when you hit the key. Pulled battery post off and load test batteries, they are also new. So, I'm thinking maybe the flex plate is broke so I call good ol Phil Taylor and he send's me a brand new billet flex plate. Pull the tranny and I'll be damned it is NOT broken! By the way, engine turn's over fine by hand, tranny is also OK. I'm thinking it's gotta be something simple that I am overlooking. Doe's anyone have a clue as to what it might be? Or ever had one do this? I have also replaced the neutral safety switch for chit's and giggle's. Any thought's, or something I may have missed? I really like this truck alot, but that lighter and can of diesel is starting to look real good. Sorry so long but I didn't want to miss anything that I've already tried. Thank's, Gary
