starting my build

Ok, so i just got my new long block in. It came out of a 94. It has both the IH head and block. I am going to completly build this thing on a stand first. I am hoping for more than 1000 horse at the crank. What are your suggestions on where to start. I am looking for all ideas, and every little detail even if it is only worth 5 more horse power. It is going to be a puller too. Thanks.
