So I am having a few issues with my truck. One minute it will fire right up but then after I shut it down and leave it for a few it will decide for it self if its wanting to start or not. Sometimes it will fire right back up at the turn of the key but other times I hit the key and nothing. All my lights and gauges and everything are working. Just no start. But if I go under it and Jump the starter with a screw driver it'll fire up. I can shut it off and it'll fire right back up again at the turn of the key. This one has got me really scratching my brain. Also if it helps truck is full power but power locks do not work. All fuses and relays are good.
starts fine one minute but no crank the next?!

Try pullin up on the shifter on the column when you turn the key. Prob just have it outta park a lil bit and your safety switch is dickin with ya... maybe
I took the starter off today and stripped it right down. When I opened it up for noticed the saulder was cracked on two wires and was hanging loose. I fixed it and cleaned everything up and put it all back together and now it appears to working great. I hope it fixes all my problems cuz what a pain in the a** it is when your out in the middle of no where and your truck won't start. Thanks for the reply B N S slammer!
