Steering box or ps pump

I have fluid leaking out of the top of my steering box and when i checked the fluid level cuz it sounded like it was empty but it was full the fluid however wAs all foamed up. It leaks a full resivor out about once a weak. Is there a cheap fix? If not im buying a steering box tommoro, should i buy a pump instead. Also when i put fresh fluid in it the pump still has a small whine to it

check your fittings and lines on top of the box you could have a loose fitting or a busted line no point in wasting money on a box if its a cheaper line or just a loose fitting that could be tightened up.

I'd replace the box. Chances are good it probably needs it anyways.

I bought a box last night. Mine also blew out pitman arm seal. Im just having a hell of a time getting the drag link off the pitman arm
