Still getting P0216

Replaced injection pump, supply pump, APPS, reset TPS and is still pulling P0216. Truck runs good but still getting the DEAD PEDAL and only code is P0216. Could it be the MAPP sensor, defective new pump???? HELP Truck is 2000 3500 24V

Only four things cause a 216 code . The VP itself , followed by low pressure output from the lift pump and bad grounding connections both at the batteries and or at the block . Along with low battery voltage.
 
All connections are good so we're getting another new lift pump and VP tomorrow, have warranty, so we'll see what happens. :dead-horse-fast2:

Found the problem

It ended up being a bad keyway on the VP. Got the new one and should have it up and running tomorrow. Thanks for the help
 
The gear the keyway fits into was bad and once the new one was installed and we ran the truck, the bad gear shaved part of the keyway down. Had a new keyway put on and it runs like a champ now
 
Oddly enough, the old keyway on the old VP was fine. Go figure???
