Stock fuel pump?

My buds 03 CR stock fuel pump died with 173k, It is in the tank and not on the frame, where is the best place to get a replacement? Basic mods MP-8, gauges, exhaust and intake with no desire for more power, tows heavy. He just wants to replace the tank pump but Dodge is pricey.

I think BD Diesel makes a perf lift pump thats like an OE replacement

Lift Pump Options

A few options here, an OEM replacement, a Bypass and an Auxiliary kit. Unfortunately you have the worst case scenario (in tank failure).

Normally with the in tank kits that are still working (you) can add an Auxiliary kit to the frame rail to support the in tank pump and prevent it from failing. In your situation I recommend pulling the in tank kit and run (a) Bypass kit. This kit will mount on the frame rail and eliminate your problems once and for all.
