I had a member ask me the stock radiator. I've never done anything with the radiator besides hot-tank it to clean it out. My philosophy is if it's not leaking, don't change it.

Will the stock radiator hold up to this setup, (66/73/14, mach 7's, and smarty), during long WOT situations egt's permitting?

I am thinking of going with one of these Performance Radiator | 1994-2002 5.9L Dodge Cummins
so I don't have to worry about the stock radiator. Do you think it's worth it?

Thank you.

the radiator he posted is just a replacement stock radiator :hehe:

if he wants better cooling, he will need to run either a triple pass radiator, a bigger radiator from a different application, or something...

most of us don't keep WOT burried to redline for several miles...so yeah if we did that, stock cooling wouldn't be enough to cool all the engine heat being produced.

sounds like he wants to tow a heavy load and drive against the rev limiter for extended durations...

Hey thanks for Commenting everyone. I have been asking other people also and I'm going to run the stocker as long as I can. Thanks again.

I'll say this, with that much fuel you would best pay attention to the EGT gauge more than the temp gauge. Even with a 73 you are going to be into some serious EGT's if you can't get and keep the RPM up.
