my buddy has an 06 Ext cab long bed 4x4 with sct custom tune, intake, straight pipe exhaust, (maybe a turbo, he doesnt tell us much) he said he put an 03 turbo on but its just as loud if not louder then my 64mm silver bullet. hes got little under 100k and when he races people around town he does a 20psi 4x4 launch with a stock trans(atlest that what he tells us). im not trying to dog powerstroke trans or what not in just asking if they can take that time after time with a stock trans and if so thats nut they can handle alot.

Yes they can, even with nitrous. 2000-2200rpm is the sweat spot. Any higher will just cause traction problems.
