Yeah the 03 turbo's are loud anyway, but the Beans turbo is unbelievable. Not sure if I will leave it that away. If you ever heard Richards truck, that is the turbo I have now, and it resembles a demon trying to get out of hell. LOL I forgot how throaty and raspy it was around 2200 rpm's. I like it, but its not gonna be very good for any long hauls. I might have a V band clamp made so I can swap them in and out with minimal problems.
 
does it sound like that video of rich's truck at DI when his was straight piped?
 
LOL....what I do when I leave in the morning is leave as slow as I can and when I get up to 5 mph I put it into 3rd gear to keep it from spooling.
 
This is the first start of the day. The oil isn't even warm yet, but it whistles already. Once it warms up its much more pronounced.

No I killed it with the remote start by hitting the brakes. Its a 2 way FM system, and it sends that signal to the keys, which were sitting next to the camera, that its shut off, incase your inside and can't tell.
 
what pump failed on you? I remember you are running the raptor, did you have any problems with your feed line coming off??? mine did last night when i was 2 states away, the clamp came off the end of the hose, the fitting stayed connected but the hose came totally off pouring fuel everywhere, thank god i was in a parking lot. the whole engine bay was smoking, im lucky it didnt catch on fire, called toby up said i was the first he has heard, sending out the "new style" feed line out monday
 
WOW. Mine was actually just my stock pump. All of this was the result of me getting the AirDog and Raptor setup I now have.
 
i think it sounds pretty good at least in that 2nd video, i was thinking bout running straight pipe on my 03-6.0l excursion, and i saw alot videos with the 5inch mbrp exhaust so i thought bout geting my exhaust guy to make me something like that instead of buying theres... i am new to all the diesel world but are the 5inch exhaust work good on these 6.0L's?
