Stuck in defrost

It seems my blend motor/valve is not working. I only get air from the defrost vents no matter the position of the switch on the dash. Is that motor electrically controled or vacuum? Is there a fuse I am not seeing some where? I hear that motor is a blast to get to behind the dash.

Any help?

vacuum controled the door actuator is on the bottom of the box above the trans tunnel.
 
check for a vacuum line leak. Mine was sticks in defrost when I had a vacuum line come loose by the transfer case. Check the lines there and by the firewall.

Does your cruise not work either? If it doesnt its a vaccum line right by the boost elbow. I had the same exact problem.
 
it could be the line off the vacuum pump, I can't mess around under the hood without pulling it out, it's happened numerous times!
 
Got it fixed.... Vac line broke above the valve cover along the firewall.

Wow that was easy! Wish my debacles were fixed by a broken line on the firewall! :hehe: Nice truck by the way. I love trucks with training wheels! :D
 
Took the training wheels off...Changed the stack to a 5" flat black miter cut. Working on the body now and hoping to get it painted soon

I was about to say that because thats where mine broke. Glad it is fixed. Lucky it was that easy.
