I have a SunCoast converter from a 4R100. It was used in a cummins swap. This converter has approximately 15,000 miles on it. HAS METAL SHAVINGS INSIDE. I purchased this setup from OZONE BURNER. Converter held fine just has shavings through it. SunCoast will cut it open, clean it, weld it back together, and balance it for $450 shipped. Price is $650 Firm. Shipping will need to be taken care of on your end. Located in NE Ohio 44428
 
Some advice. Get it fixed then sell it. No one is going to go through all that trouble and take a chance it will even be fixed for the amount you state. I mean you are around a $300 savings over buying new before all the BS and shipping it all over the place. Not many foolish people on here. Maybe try Ebay if you do not want to fix it first.
