super hx40

i'm wanting to trade or sell my super hx40. its brand new. has less than 1k on it. i got it from a buddy that bought it from holset. its perfect, i will sell for 800 o.b.o. or trade towards a turbo that is 62/65/12 or 14 or 64/65/12 or 14. i will kick in cash for the right deal. i would much rather trade as this is my daily driver. but anything can be done. this turbo is oround 1100 from holset.

whats a super HX40 vs a reg. 40 ?

super 40 is a 7 blade wheel that's shared with the HE351, and the turbine wheel is a 10 blade vs. a 14?15? blade like the standard HX40

from searching the super 40 has a normal hx40 shaft. I could be wrong though

super 40 shaft is the same as 35/40 standard shaft, but fewer blades on the turbine wheel greatly reduces weight

the super 40 is a decent turbo

the super 40 is a 60/65/16. i bought it because thats what many people recommended and so did holset. i'm just taking the truck a diff. route with more fuel. lol.

i dont know. i would imagine not. i didnt notice much diff from the stock hx35 as far as lag. it spools pretty fast! imo

and its a great turbo for up to 150 injectors, i'm going bigger so i need something diff. make offers as far as trades or money

Don't forget that the exhaust was ported out to match gasket.
