Superchip stolen

A guy I know called me up saying that the Superchip he had was stolen while his truck was programmed. Is there any way to remove the program from the truck as he wants to change to a Smarty?

I think the Smarty would find a program error, but I'm not sure. He could just have a dealer re flash the truck then go with the Smarty.

I'm betting it will need to be re-flashed at the dealer.

I ran across the same circumstance with a PPE. Had to take it to the dealer to have it reflashed.

smarty will overwrite the superchip and give you the newest chrysler updates too. If its an 06 or 07 new software was published yesterday.
