Superchips MAX micro tuner

A freind a mine has a 1999 dodge cummins and had a few questions about a programmer. His truck is all stock expect straght piped with around 106,000 miles and currently gets around 16mpg highway. His question is has anyone heard anything about the Superchips Max micro tuner? positives? negatives? Really just looking for better fuel mileage with only mild performance gains without having to make any other modifications.

My brother has been running a superchip in his truck for probably around 70,000 miles, and has had no problems. It is completely stock, the tranny is slipping some now, but it does have over 100,000 miles on it now. I also ran the superchip in my truck some and it has good power for what it is in my opinion, and milage did go up. I also ran a Hypertech in mine for several years before I put the comp box in, and it also was good on both trucks, and upped the milage, but he liked the superchip best with the auto tranny.
