surging problem under load

hey guys

I just put this truck together for my dad
2006 cummins
ddp 90hp
dual cp3 ppe 2006 stock cp3 dmax on top
dps 64mm over 75 mm twins
rebuilt engine , cam 188-220-109.25LSA Cast Cam .310"/.320"
heavy valve spings
hd push rods
edge cts
fass 150 pressure set at 12 psi


now the truck runs fine with the edge at stock but soon as i turn it up the truck surges and bucks under load above 2000rpm

rail pressure is good
installing the low pressure guage to see what it doing when its do when driving

truck has no codes ,

any ideas ,

EFI live. Almost sounds like a timing issue with the Edge if it'll run fine on stock. But thats kind of a guess. With the CTS, what tuning are you running with it ? Evolution or Juice with Attitude? Cause we've seen nothing but problems with the Evolution tuning.
