What setups are you guys using to get a 2wd to hook?

I was running a 1.8 60ft with my 98 2wd 12v with a set of 33 10.50 mt slicks. Stock suspension otherwise, but will be adding caltracs soon.

Homemade traction bars. 2 leafs in the rear and some cheap rear shocks. 70/30 front shocks. Hooks decent.

Have you tried 90/10s up front? If so, how did they compare?
