I'm getting a Dana 80 single with disc set up. I'm going to install it on my 98.5 3500 I know i'm going to need a bed but my question is all I would have to do is literally swap rear ends? both are the same gear (3.55) only difference is my current rear set up is drum brakes and i'll be converting to disc in the rear. I was told I have to switch drive shafts... i didn't believe it. Mainly to save weight and i really have no use for the duels anymore.. If anyone needs a rear end or good bed also hit me up haha. Thanks for reading!
:Cheer:

im second in line for the bed. and first in line for the axle and dually wheels and tires. price $$ i can pick up asap

I have two beds. One is flat black and one is primer grey. The black bed has some rust rot near the front inside the bed and carried down to the bed rails. One bolt snapped off in the bed to connect it to the rails and there is slight rot near the back in the center by the tailgate. flairs and exterior and tailgate are in really good shape tho and i'm sure with a little work everything can be fixed within budget. I would like to get 500 for the bed considering the condition of the outside. The other bed mite be spoken for already but it is 90% rust free some welding patches on the inside due to damage before i owned it. flairs and exterior in great condition. issues with the tailgate closing sometimes you have to kinda slam it it's not lined up perfectly but i'm sure that can be fixed to. I'd like to get 600 for that one if this other guy falls thru. I just installed new drums and shoes on my rear end a few months ago and the rear end is in great shape idk what they are going for but if you want the new drums-shoes maybe 550? 6 steels wheels with simulators front tires 80% tread and rear 4 inbetween 30 and 50% tread. all six 350. front hub adapters i have no idea what they go for but are in good shape as well. Feel free just to contact me with questions 216six50676nine

Thanks!

Gavin, Buster has a bed that is already painted red that he'd prob sell ya if the one you found doesnt work out.

You will need to check the master cylinder. If I remember right you have to swap them out since the Disc brake rear uses a slightly bigger one.

Well make offers on the beds rear end and wheels. Be reasonable. I was just saying what i think they are worth. Anyone have a Dana 70 for sale?
