I will be assembling my 12v real soon. And was thinkin about a T-4 foot charger. This will be a street truck. With a tow cam,and a few other things. Nothing to hot. What i was thinkin was a 62/68/.88 or .90 or smaller but in a T4 foot. I like the size of the T-4 (more air flow).
Has anyone out there tried something like this for street use. Does it work good or should i stay with a T-3.

T4 will work fine on the street. I didn't do any back to back testing, but I'll go t4 on my next daily driver.

pretty much :)

I am intrigued by Weston's variable turbine setup, but you can't go wrong with a full divided T4 setup and an E.D. gate plate :D

I believe the common small t4 housing for the s300 turbine wheels is called a ".91 a/r" housing. .90 is common to the s400 turbine wheels

p.s. I run the .91 t4 housing on my s364 with a 71mm turbine and it is a great balance for spool and power imho. I haven't done much wot tuning with it other than a few drag strip passes and some street playing so I would think there is more power to be had with additional wot fuel settings. My busted ankle is not helping things.

I know the 68mm exhaust wheel would be good for quick spool but how would the 71mm wheel do. Is it to slow for the street.

if u throw more fuel to it i run a 66/73/.90 T4 and it spools twice as fast as the 66/71/.84 did
