t3 to t4 adapter

I can pic up a t3 htt manifold pretty cheap. The problem is I am going to be using a s475 with a t4 foot. Is it worth it to just pick up the adaptor or should I just find a manifold with a t4 foot.

If it was me i'd find a manifold with a t4 foot. The idea of exhaust gasses slowing down right before they hit the turbine wheel I don't like at all but that's just me. I've run a t4 t66 turbonetics charger with the stock manifold with the supplied t3/t4 adapter, with a Armstronge T4 Header, and a PDI T4 Manifold. I liked the PDI t4 manifold the best.

x2 on the t4 manifold. I used to run a stock manifold with a t3/t4 adapter with my s465 and it was alright. Switched to a PDI t4 manifold, spooled the charger better and pulled better on the top end.
 
Alright well I guess that is the info I was looking for. Off to find a t4 manifold. Thanks for the input.
 
Anyone else have good results with any other T4 exhaust manifold? I am looking to go that way too. Not sure who all has them. I know ATS, PDI, who else?

Who has the best manifold blanket and turbo sock as well?

ED is now recomending T4 manifolds even for T3 turbos

the PDI T4 is a very nice piece. that's what I've got on my truck right now
 
I got a SS t4 manifold from Matt @ Overkill performance parts, nice looking peice, all pressure fitted, just like the 3 peice cast ones, plus he makes the SS intake runner manifolds in a package deal if you want, he does all the intercooler pipes in with the package as well.
 
We do like the increase you get from a T4. For stainless we do have the 2nd gen 1piece stainless manifolds or PDi's w/blankets with either. We also have your T3-T4 adapter with gaskets and mounting hardware if you don't go T4. Chris
