Tach interm. goes in and out

its throwing a crank sensor fauly any body have experience with these issues?? 98.5 engine. cam and crank?

your tach reads off of the crank sensor in thisear. Sensor is behind the starter. Pray that the sensor is just shot. Pull it out if it has any grooves in it from the crank tone ring your goin to hate life.

My truck does the same thing and sometimes when it throws the code (i believe its po336) it sometimes wont start. its really making me mad
