Hey guys, sorry, my searches on this have gone one way or the other, I didn't find one that covered this specifically.

I'm puting an HE351VGT on my 24v with the 47re.
What I want to find out is; Would it be better to run a lockup switch to get the full effect of the exhaust brake, or would it be better to run a trans programming box? eg. ATS Co-Pilot, BD Autoloc etc.

The switch would be cheaper, but would it just do more damage to the trans?
Where as the the programmer would be more expensive but, it would be specificllay designed to work with the trans.

What is your opinion?
Thanks.

i have a BD autoloc brand new in the box. I'll make you a good deal on it if your interested.
