Everybody knows how a TC lock-up switch works. I'm wonndering if I could take that wire that you tap into for the lock-up, cut it, and run each end to a switch---therefore the TC will not lock-up unless the switch is on. Make sense? The reason being there is a lot of curvy roads around here where you can only go around 40-45 mpg, and my brothers truck keeps locking and unlocking at that speed. Its to slow to just lock it, and I don't like the using overdrive override(plus it doesn't work anymore in his truck) So I'm thinking this could work. Anyone try this?

Why not just fix the O/D override switch it already has? Most likely a bad connection or broken switch.

I kinda like this idea better, because the rpms would be a bit high in 3rd.
