TDI in a S-10 or Ranger

I have a 00' Jetta TDI that has 308,xxx miles on it. The motor is still running strongas ever, but the car is starting to show the miles.
I was wanting to yank the motor and drop it in a early 90's 4x4 S-10 or Ranger.
Has anyone done this? And if so with what tranny?

Its been done, IIRC there is a thread about a tdi ranger there. Currently there are a couple tdi toyota thread witch probably answer many of the same questions for a ranger / S-10 converion.
