Id of hooked mine for fun, but havent been working much lately, so i didnt wanna break it and be SOL:bang

You'd have to understand the place we are dealing with here:hehe:

It is just a redneck bunch that run that sled/track, but i love it:rockwoot:

That aint no runnin sled there. Its heavy right from the beginning. They always run a run what you brung class. They dont divide it up. Basically the only rules are 26" hitch height, and 8500lbs. Anything else goes:ft:

sled owner still ride the brakes on out of states truck?

yea true been to a couple like that and i never seen a sled like that really so what they pull in back with a tractor?

Yup. Tractor pulls it back at the end of each hook. Sleds like that are getting to be few and far between. Most places are going to the speed sled type that let you get a run with it and then they slam ya with the weight at the end. I dont mind to pull either one as my truck seems to do decent with either style, but the older type sleds are a whole lot easier on parts for sure. They also rely a little more on proper setup than just all out power. Kind of makes it interesting sometimes because its not always who can spend the most money on their truck.

yea i like it when you can kinda run with it and you can pick the pan up on that sled it would be pretty hard to pick that pan up

I personally dont believe they have ever ridden the brakes on anyone.

Its just a dissapointment for some people that do good on a drag sled to come in and get their butt handed to em because their truck isnt setup/geared for that sled. You cant run the real high gears with this sled.

i know for a fact they used the brakes on me and bunting a few years ago, as video showed sled tires a dragging at the end

Not sure about riding brakes but I seem to recall some REAL SHADY distance readings... I believe even josh admitted they were clearly wrong.

Good vids. Thanks for posting. I wanted to get up there and hook up. But I wasn't able to. I really need to find a test and tune pull around here.

Most definitely. I wish i had that pull on tape so i could watch it and see how far each truck got. It was pretty ridiculous.

I forgot about that. That was definately pretty crappy. I dont know if it was just a mistake or not, but the readings were definately wrong.

next time on desktop and 3 years ago, i think it was versallies after a shelbyville dhra pull i haulled donkey to pull, still got 3rd behind ryan u and wide load

That truck that pulled at 2:52 into the video sounded like a weedwacker. Thanks for the video, can't wait till I can pull again.

And the chain saw takes the win! LOL They were cutting up the bleachers behind me for some reason. I dont know if they were gonna put new wood on them all or what, but i couldnt figure out why they had to be doing it while a pull was going on:bang

Yea thats the sled that has the concrete in the front pan of it hah, but clementsville pulls are pretty fun I aint gunna lie cause no one can b**ch about your truck cause theres only two rules.

the dodge with dual stacks and weight out front needs some help. can you notice how slow the smoke comes from the exhaust? whay to much smoke which i think is hurting his power.
