Whats up T!

Well, first off I need to know more about how you're shooting it and what you're used to shooting....

The Glock is a Double Action ALL the time trigger system....But SO many people don't understand what that means ( not saying you don't..Just stating)... So When you pull that first shot you should be doing the following:

-Raise pistol to target and know that you're ready to shoot.
-Pull the "Take up"..That means the part of the trigger pull that long, just before hitting the harder part of the pull...( You are in essence "cocking" the gun as you pull thru this section.)
-Once you hit the harder part, this IS the trigger pull (in lbs.)..Its where the trigger bar is coming in contact with the connector ( the part that cams the trigger bar down to release the firing pin)..
-The hard spot (trigger bar against connector), this is where you need to start you aiming (site alignment) and controlled breathing...This is where the TRUE trigger pull begins...Start pulling very smoothly thru this hard spot until it fires....
-When the pistols fires, MAKE SURE YOU HOLD THE TRIGGER TO THE REAR for your next shot....THIS is where people don't understand the Glock...
-With the trigger to the rear, SLOWLY release until you feel the "Click"...STOP!!!!!!!
This "Click" is and FAR AS YOU HAVE TO GO FOR THE NEXT SHOT!!!!!

-The "Click" is where the trigger bar end is clearing the connector, so the connector can "POP" bang into place from being "Cammed" over from the slide cycling!!

Practice this while "Dry Firing"..... YES!!! Dry fire the Chit out of it.. It won't hurt it and it's GREAT practice to create "Muscle memory" for the trigger systems...The "Break" and the "Release" part...

SO, standing with an UNLOADED Glock...Cycle the slide manually....Practice pulling the trigger "Take up" portion....THEN align your sights and control you breathing..... Then pull thru the hard spot until the firing pin is released.....HOLD THE TRIGGER TO THE REAR AT THIS TIME!!!!!!!!!
Cycle the slide again manually (simulating a live fire situation) While HOLDING the trigger to the rear.....
Then SLOWLY release the trigger until you feel (and hear) that "CLICK"..... STOP RIGHT THERE!!!!!!!
Then align your sites and control your breathing.... Slowly start to press the trigger for the next shot.... Cycle slide again after that shot....BUT HOLD THE TRIGGER TO THE REAR!!!

Keep practicing this sequence.....THIS is how to become proficiant with a Glock...

Just remember ....The FIRST part of the trigger pull is essentially "Cocking" the gun.... the HARD spot is the firing area.....

We can talk about it ....it may be easier to understand..

T huh? WHICH T?!!!! DAMNT DAVID CAN YOU GET SOME KIND OF A SYSTEM FOR US THAT START WITH A T!
