Everyone said it looked like it made more. Even Mike the guy running the dyno was surprised of how low the numbers were.

Were you watching fuel pressure or case pressure?

Did it build as much boost as it does on the street?



You endured the trip from hell and couldn't even spray to 400 HP? :poke:

fuel pressure does not move from 15psi. Never has. Dont know about the case pressure.

Ran about 10psi low.
 
As for teh trip from hell and 400... I have alot more fuel only tuning to do. I'm still pretty close to stock timing with teh 6x16's
 
Better get tuning.....
We have guys who come to our shows that are well above 350 on fuel only and have two over 400 on fuel with their first genners.Sounds like you need a trip to Dr.Wannadiesel for some of his 1st genner tuning magic,LOL.
 
not much point in comparing #,s from different events/dyno,s. too many variables. tuning the ve is key though. since they dont like too fuel heavy at hi rpm you got to get the turbo to light quik. using the afc to limit pre-boost fuel helps with huge injectors.

I know exaclty what is wrong with my truck. The low numbers were not much of a surprise. No intercooler and close to stock timing with 6x16 injectors. Those two right there should put me over 400 on fuel only.
 
I dynoed on Dunbars in July with my1st Gen and it only did 378hp/800tq on 55 NOS jet with 6x16 with 2nd gen lift pump and no timing. I guess our numbers are just about right since they are around the same. I was dissappointed in not getting over 400. It did 336 on fuel only. The 66mm turbo hurt me and no timing also.
