Played around a little more on the dyno this afternoon, had a smaller set of injs then I usually have in her due to some other issues but managed a 805 out of it. Its got some more left, think the 3rd gen MLS gasket is not holding up and as soon as the charger lights and makes 800hp it will start poppin real loud and lay over right around 3000rpms. Hoping to have it around 1k by the time the indoor pull comes around n Murfreesboro. :evil

Might be a day or two before this thread gets a lot of hits! Everyone is pissing and moaning about the election, lol!

Seriously that's awesome, 800 is a big number!

What does one need to get 800hp on fuel with a single charger? Stock head, stock intake, stock bottom end, stock compression. I wander if a fancy intake would up me 200hp?

Depends on who makes it.... you know that. LOL

A Banks sticker should do it!!!!!!!

Got the head off right now and waiting on fire rings to show to put my 05 head back on. The head I had on it was a stock 03 head with a 3rd gen mls gasket, seemed like it just didnt want to hold it all in once it hit 780-800 hp. Cant find any eveidence of it leaking on the gasket but pretty sure thats what was causing it to nose over and pop once it hit that.

Great number!

Must've had pretty good studs to make it that far past 700HP with an MLS...

Glad it's working out for you, Lloyd! :Cheer:

I prefer O-rings & a marine gasket in 750HP+ applications for long-term durability.
