The Potential of the 6.7

31,000 miles in 9 months with no issues. Love this truck and the mileage it's getting.

For the general public (those who aren't worried about extreme power with it) its a great engine. I think Ford is finally starting to get some good diesel rep back again.

The weakest link in the 6.7, besides being an all-round poor design, is the extremely small and restrictive turbo.
The 6.4 is the best one to buy.

:hehe:

those hunks of chit can hardly stay running STOCK... let alone tuned.! I wouldnt have one.. love the truck hate the motor..!! Im with the 6.0 might not make the power as easily as a CR.. But its alot more reliable.

get a 6.7 , has huge stock power and rides amazing, i have one and its the best truck ive ever owned

we did the II twins and 100hp or so injectors, the truck didnt like it much

stock 6.7 rods look like small block chevy rods with offset caps

when we called Ford for a long block, they had to call Detroit to get a part number and waited almost a month for it. it was reasonably priced around $5500. it stayed in the ford crate and was shipped off to Crower for rods to be made

they look like this
