Thinkin of another truck

Ok I found this deal on a truck in my town and I'm just seeing what the experts are thinkin on it. Its an 2002, 2500 short wheel base 2 wheel drive. It has 298,000 miles on it. The tranny is all stock, the injection pump was replaced a few years ago and it has a new set of tires. After that its pretty much all stock, it is owned by an older man that used it to haul cars for the local car dealership, only one car was hauled at a time. It looks like its in pretty good shape but idk how good the mans word is. He wants $5500 for but he said its negotiable. What yall think???
 
take it for a test drive, i'd still look around for something or shoot him a offer and see what he says
 
Sounds cheap, i'd pick it up if you don't find any bad problems and the body is good. For a girl though, shoot I would just get her a cavalier or something women cant drive.
 
yeah she wants a truck like mine though. I took it for a drive it runs like a champ. I think Im gonna pick it up
