thinking about swapping dana 60 from 02 to 98

Ok I have 02 front rear and wanna swap it into my 98 will this work? What would I have to do /modify thanks

Does your 02 front axle have CAD?

The only differences would be the 02 axle could be non-CAD, and the different unit bearing/rotor. Neither of these make any real difference when swapping a complete axle.

does anyone know if the newer dana 60 is wider?

Yes axles 2000 and newer are 2" wider than '99 and older.

Wow, guess I need to find a new rear axle now to match the 01 Dana 60 I just bought..
