Thread size and pitch.

I need thread size and pitch of coolant sensor in a 99' 24v head .

I believe it's the same as the mapp sensor and iat sensor. I have a thread on cummins forum asking the same thing.

I know for certain that the MAP is a 14mm X 1.5, I cant tell you if the others are the same or not. I suppose you could yank both out & try one in another & if it goes you have your answer. The MAP is an oring fit with a 30* bevel in it, so you probably cant use a crush washer.

You're just going to plug them, right? I have a 14x1.5 plug that I pulled out of this HC5A and put in a -6an/14x1.5 adapter.

i used a 14mm sparkplug tap on some bushings i had for my 98 and it worked fine.
