Throttle Trouble Help

I have a question. When I'm driving my truck the check engine light is on. The throttle seems like it sticks. When I go to give it more fuel it won't move and after a while it seems that it catches up and then takes off. What is wrong with it? :thankyou2:

try reseting your tps turn the truck in the on position dont start it press the gas 3 times to the floor slowly turn the truck back off then crack it if this helps then you need a tps, First thing to do is see if it will throw any codes you may end up not getting any codes thats what mine did. Before you buy another tps see if you have a freind with an auto see if his will fix it if so, try to find a used one they wanted 435 for one at the local dodge dealer so i got a used one off a friend for 35 bucks most likely will never find that good of a deal again
