Tilt column in not tilt truck?

I bought a used 01 2500 this past August and as money allows and now the weather I have been doing work and upgrades on the truck. One thing I was wondering if a tilt steering column can be put into a none tilt column truck. There is a company that can get the steering columns and rebuild them.

My truck is the bare bones model no power windows, no power locks, and no cruise control in it. It has a auto trans and is 4 wheel drive.

I don't see why not? Get with someone who has a tilt column truck and check the dash, if it's not different you should be good to go with a couple of brackets.
