Hey guys I'm lookin to get a non waste gated 66mm turbo just lookin for some suggestions or where to look. I heard of a few guys getting turbos from diesel-plus.com but can't find a 66. Any input would be nice thanks
 
forced inductions (DRTURBO) and Engineered diesel (grotman) are both site sponsors here and make great turbos. i'd pm or call one of them
 
A gate is a good thing to have. Will keep you from over speeding your turbo and either damaging your turbo or running to much boost and blowing a headgasket or having to high of drive pressure and hurting power.
 
With a vp your not going to over boost a 366. Check out Dallas turbo and give them a call or there was a 66 for sale on cummins forum. Go for it, My fav was a II silver bullet, but they are proud of the polished housing.
 
Seriously? I could hit 50psi with my VP and the drive pressure was over 1:1. You can overspool a 66 with a VP quite easily. And I was under 500hp. Imagine the guys over 600hp. Hell I'm worried bout overspooling the s472 I've got now once I get the truck running.

Fixed it for ya. :kick: Sorry Tyler couldn't resist.

I would recommend a waste-gate as well. A turbo that is has been over sped is not a pretty site.
 
It was just right there. I tried to use restraint but alas the devil go to me. I'm a sinner, please forgive me!
