timing case question

I am pulling the timing case to replace it after i got the Kdp. I have the cam out and everything but have to pull the head to do a Hg while its down. My question is how much easier would it be to get to the pump nuts with the head pulled.

a lot easier! The pump nuts will practically be in the wide open
