How many revs Is A 35/12.50/20 Toyo mud tire? Or what is the meteric size?

Another easy one is to do 20800 divided by the diameter. Also things to keep in mind. For every inch that the rim is narrower than the tire it makes the tire 1/4 inch taller. So if you put a 12 inch wide tire on an 8 inch rim that tire is a bit taller than you think.

I found this site which converts the tire sizes to either standard or metric:

Then to find the revs we also use http://powerdog.com/tiresize.cgi

I tried it now with 35/12.5/20 and it converted it to 318/60R20 which gave me 576 revs per mile.

Now I'm confused. I run Nitto Terra Grapplers size 285/70/17. Nitto's website says that these are 634 Revs Per Mile. Using the Powerdog calculator it says 617 Revs Per Mile??? I wonder why such a difference? Nitto says measuring rim width is 8.5" but I have them mounted on my factory 7.5" wide rims. The calculator doesn't ask for mounted rim width though. How can I be the most accurate?
