tire size 2003 f350 4x4 dually

need a little help what the biggest tire i can put on a 16" rim. i have
235/85/16 on it now truck has no lift on it. am looking for a a/t tire
any reply would be great thanks

285/75...any larger you will need to run spacers in the rear

265's are as big as you can go on 16's without spacers. The 17's on the newer duallies can take 285's without spacers. I could not bolt my outsides on with the 285's, even pushing with a forklift. I had to leave my outsides off for a day while waiting on my 2" spacers. And spacers are not a problem either as you will be told soon on here. I've been running them for years and tow heavy daily.
