Ive been thinkin about gettin the BD Top Speed Eliminator- mainly just to remove my gov. and maybe a little more power in 1st gear. i have a few questions: is this a good product? are there better ones out there? and how fast should my truck run with mods i have in my sig. i dyno around 330hp.
Thanks for any input guys

Good product, you are RPM limited in top speed, what gear ratio and what size tires?

I have a RAD. It gets rid of the TQ management along with the speed eliminator...... You will probably need to do something with the tranny if you rip on it much with the RAD turned on.

I can get over the 120mph speedo limit with my 98.5. I am thinking early 24valves had no speed limiter. Your top speed will remain the same no matter how much mods you have, unless you have a box that rev's your truck past 3500 rpm. An auxilary overdrive might be what you are looking for, 20% reduction in rpm at any speed in overdrive with gear vendors unit.

i know it's an old thread, but i did get the BD RAD. I'm only using it for TS elimination right now. It's definately doin the job. Yesterday i hit around 125 im guessing by how far it was past 120 on the speedo

I've had mine to 143 on gps, 33" tires 3.55 gears 3700 rpm. Without the RAD turned on in will only hit 115mph. I'ts a must have for racing :evil
