Seems as if converter is locked up on my 95. Happened about 5 miles from house coming to a stop sign as if the lockup switch was on....made it home and cut ground and where wire was tapped right at pcm....converter still locked........

What would you guys check??? Called goerend & left message

Kinda suprised nobody on here had any input......maybe I wasn't real clear on what im having problems with?

Truck will crankup idle like a top......drives like normal in reverse........then if I go into D truck will stall out 1-2seconds later (converter is locked up)

Craig/Chris called me back had me disconect the plug running vertical above the pan.....didn't help any. He wanted me to squeeze down on a rubber part of the trans line and get somebody else to go from N-D and see if pressure spiked. I replaced those with braided lines and -08AN fittings from jegs about a year ago :bang :bang go figure right. So ive got to get a pressure reading from the line, I think I have an adapter that will work for hooking up a pressure guage (going to rob a sunpro 100psi oil guage out an old f250 thats at the house and try to hook it in)

He said if I get some pressure readings he can tell if its the touque converter/valve body or selenoids. Ill keep this updated, if anybody knows of any other things to check feel free to chime in

youll peg the 100psi gauge...try finding one that goes higher 200 if possible, I picked one up at harbor freight that goes to 300.

with you unhooking the power I would think it could only be stuck lockup solenoid.
